Now that the Cultural District has a Board of Directors and Bylaws, the monthly Community Meetings are replaced with monthly Board meetings and twice-a-year “Membership” meetings.
Please watch this web site, or your email, for information about how to become a full voting Member of the Organization, and when the first Membership Meeting is scheduled.
The next meeting of our Board of Directors is scheduled for September 18, 2019, from 6 to 8 pm, in Room 204 at the SF LGBT Center, 1800 Market Street, in San Francisco. Community members are welcome to attend. Please note the new meeting time. The preliminary agenda can be viewed here.
Board meetings are open to the public, and are announced on our calendar and Web site, and via emails to folks on our email list. Board meetings are not live-streamed or video-recorded. Minutes of Board meetings will be made public once they are approved by the Board, typically at the following meeting. They will be linked from the this page as they are posted.
Future Board / Community Meetings

The District has a number of standing Committees hard at work, and your participation is welcome.
If you are currently receiving emails regarding the Leather and LGBTQ Cultural District, you can check on or change your membership on the various Committees, (including the Land Use, Governance and Outreach Committees, as well as the new Nightlife/Entertainment, Business, and Organizations Committees) by using the update your preferences link at the very bottom of any email you receive from us.
If you are NOT receiving our emails, you should fix that by signing up here, and indicating which Committees you are interested in.
You can also express interest in serving on the Nominating Committee, but participation on that Committee will be probably be limited under the District Bylaws, which are still being finalized.
You can also sign up for our Committees at any of our open Community Meetings, listed above.
