The Leatherman’s Journey – Making the Connection

Leather Alley at Pride is one of the Leather Alliance’s main projects. It is for those interested in or curious about Leather, SM, BDSM, kink and fetish. Experienced scene members come together at Leather Alley to foster friendship and family in a safe and supportive environment, and also to provide access and information for newcomers to the scene.

San Francisco Leathermen’s Discussion Group is an independent, all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization serving the educational needs of the men’s BDSM/leather community.

LDG was founded in 1996 with an educational mission. We host  a once-a-month presentation of a kink/fetish/leather/BDSM skill or topical discussion, interview, or panel relevant to kinky guys and their allies. Every month, 60-150 people attend for 2 hours to meet new people, learn, and have fun. Come with a friend, or drop in on your own. With a huge audience of the most interesting folks in the Bay Area, LDG tends to be the best place to meet and socialize and hang out with other kinksters. You’ll be welcome. Check out upcoming programs, meet the board of directors, or lend a hand by volunteering. New and curious guys might be interested in the LDG mentoring program.

Although LDG’s regular programs are focused on the specific needs and interests of kink-minded men, adults of all genders and backgrounds are welcome to attend.

The Exiles is a non-profit educational group for women who have a positive personal interest in BDSM between women.
